Reimagine Textile Day 2026, 7 October at TecnoCampus

The sixth edition of Reimagine Textile Day, on 7 October at TecnoCampus, focuses on how human talent gives meaning and value to artificial intelligence within the fashion industry.

Artificial intelligence is already fully part of the fashion value chain. However, technology alone does not build a company. So, what happens when the algorithm meets talent, creativity and entrepreneurial capacity? This is the central question that Reimagine Textile Day will place at the heart of its next edition. Specifically, on 7 October, the event will bring together established companies, new brands, entrepreneurs and experts in Mataró. Together, they will discuss how innovation is transforming the textile business.

A day to interweave technology and talent

The event will combine technology and business through a range of voices from the sector. The central concept will be to interweave artificial intelligence with human talent:

  • Opening keynote: Ariadna Arnés, a specialist in AI applied to fashion, will open the event. She will talk about the application of artificial intelligence in the sector’s communication.
  • Editorial monologue: Christian de Angelis, co-founder of Modaes, will reflect on the impact of this technology on the industry.
  • Round table: Thinking Mu and Lagaam will bring emerging talent face to face with the talent of the future. They will also share the stage with two Reimagine Textile projects in their launch phase: Unroute and Llur.
  • Interview: Pim Esperalba, CEO of Bobo Choses, will talk about international strategy. In particular, he will explain how to build a brand with its own identity, capable of connecting with diverse markets and cultures.

Six editions and an established community

The event is backed by six editions, with an average of 210 attendees each time. In 2025, for example, the gathering at the TecnoCampus Congress Centre brought together nearly 200 professionals. That year, the main topics were post-consumer textile waste recycling, generative AI and the digitalisation of business strategies. Participants included The Post Fiber, Bobo Choses, Artiso AI and Trendimensional.

The day will once again close with the Reimagine Textile Awards. These awards recognise the most outstanding proposals in innovation. Over the years, they have received more than 120 applications and have rewarded projects linked to the circular economy, functional textiles and new digital business models, such as the AI platform Flashion and Infinite Athletic.

Registration now open

On 7 October at 3:45 pm, part of this ecosystem will meet again at the TecnoCampus Congress Centre. This year’s edition focuses on the half of the equation that often stays in the shadow of technology: the talent capable of turning innovation into new products, processes and companies. The event, sponsored by Bobo Choses, has a registration form for anyone who would like to take part.
